Themes:
Monthly dances are usually themed to match the time of year.
(a holiday, a season, a costume ball, etc.)
Dining:
Attendees bring various types of entrees and desserts to share; a type of “pot-luck” dinner.
Dancing:
A variety of music is played to provide an opportunity for dancing many styles of ballroom, social, and novelty dances. Line, Shag, and Freestyle dancing is also welcome.
Attire:
Dress should be of a “dressy-casual” nature, and, when possible, planned to match the particular theme of the event.
Venue:
Monthly dances are usually held at the same location of the weekly gatherings. However, when possible, the dance is moved to a different location for variety, and/or an enhanced atmosphere.
